RCMP now say a crash at Mile 120 of the Alaska Highway this afternoon has resulted in at least one fatality.

Just after 1pm this afternoon, emergency services were dispatched to the accident scene. Police say the accident involved one pickup truck and one larger commercial vehicle.

No names have been released pending notification of next of kin. The highway remains closed in that area at this hour; however, police say they hope to open one controlled lane for traffic by 6:00pm tonight.
