Update: Power out to over 800 Customers in the Charlie Lake Area

BC Hydro is reporting 4 large power outages in the Charlie Lake area.

The first is affecting 119 customers North of the Alaska Highway, East of Lakeshore Drive and west of the 271 road. Hydro says the outage was caused by the wind storm that blew through the area and they hope to have power restored by 2am.

The second is affecting 275 customers west of the Golf Course Road. The outages is expected to be restored by 2am, with the cause being the same wind storm.

The third is affecting 560 customers West of Foster Road 250 and South of RD 256. At this time expect to have power back on by 2am. The cause is also the wind storm.

The other outage is South-East-West of the Alaska Highway and North of the Red CR Road 658 and this outage has effected 360 customers. The cause is a wire down and they hope to have power restored by 4:30am.
