The accident occured at about 7:40pm Thursday involving a tractor trailer unit and two other motor vehicles. Due to the severity of the incident the Rose Prairie road has been closed until further notice. The public are asked to use the Montney Road as a detour from the south and the 256 road as a detour to the north.

The RCMP will not say when the road will be re-opened, but say they will notify the public once it is open. The RCMP continue to investigate just what happened and will release more details in the near future.
