The VE Brandl PeeWee B Flyers lost their second consecutive game by a mere goal. Last Friday, they played the Sexsmith PeeWees in a high scoring affair but lost 10-9. On Sunday, the Flyers battled the Spirit River Rangers but lost 3-2. The Flyers got behind 2-0 until Jarod Lang scored with 4:17 left in the first period to bring them within one. The score remained unchanged until 3 minutes into the third period when Emerson Loewen tied the game on a break away goal. The Rangers snuck one in at the 12 minute mark and the Flyers just could not get another one passed the Ranger’s goalies.

The goal tending duties were shared by Logan Edwards and Lane Delfs and both were strong in net. The Flyers next action will be Saturday, October 25th in Grande Prairie.
