Elks results from Edmonton

Eleven members of the Fort St. John Elks Speed Skating club attended the annual Edmonton Fall Classic speed skating meet on the week-end.

For most of the skaters, it was only their second meet of the year, and all continued to improve on their times.

Particularly noticeable were Mitch Kupchanko and Jamie Lee. Kupchanko finished third in the top group of males; making several nice passes and continually skating out of tough jams. Lee just got better and better as the races went on and had some exceptional skates on Sunday.

Individual results as follows:

Division 1
Jolea Bilodeau – 11th

Division 2
Mitch Kupchanko – 3rd
Kayne Dressler – 15th – 2 Personal Bests

Division 6
Rick Lee – 2nd

Division 7

Division 8
