The Senior Flyers will be looking for two more wins this weekend.

The Flyers host the new-look Hythe Mustangs on Thursday night. The Mustangs have had a very respectable start to their new season, with a 3-2 record, and all three of their wins coming on the road.

On Saturday night, the Flyers visit the High Prairie Regals, who are playing .500 hockey heading into their Thursday night home game against Falher. Their 7 points in 7 games puts them atop the NPHL east division.

The Flyers will want to earn all 4 points this weekend, if they want to keep pace with the Spirit River Rangers, who are 7-0 to start the season. The first matchup between the Rangers and Flyers, will be home and away, on the 11th and 13th of December, respectively.

After last Saturday’s win over Falher, coach Adam Brash said it has been hard on the club returning to regular season ‘A’ hockey, but he does see positives in the team’s play.
