The Huskies lost 5-4 in a shoot out to the Sexsmith Vipers on Friday night.

The Huskies may have been expecting an easy win over the Vipers, but they would end up being caught off guard.

By the end of first period the score was tied at 1-1.

In the second it looked like the Huskies were going to take over, but the Vipers were determined to stay within one point.  In the third they tied it all up at 4-4 and the game would go into overtime.

The overtime was scoreless, and the game would go into a shootout.  Viper Riley Roy would be the only one to score in the shootout, carrying the Vipers to their first win of the season.
