Huskies win 8-7 over Grande Prairie Wheelers

The Huskies earned a dramatic 8-7 overtime win over the Grande Prairie Wheelers on Friday night.

The Huskies had a bit of a rough start, with the Wheelers scoring 2 goals within minutes of each other, and at the end of the first period the score was 5-1 GP.

In the second period the Huskies took over scoring and tied it all up.

In the third period, the Wheelers took the lead twice more, but but the Huskies refused to quit, eventually tying the game with only 38.8 seconds left.

After some end to end four on four overtime, Jordan Shipton finally ended it, scoring his third of the game, and giving the Huskies the win. The Huskies will definitely gain some momentum after this huge 8-7 win.
