RCMP bust D.C. Diesel thieves

The Dawson Creek RCMP is reporting the arrest of three men involved in the theft of Diesel fuel on Thursday night.

At around midnight, police were made aware of a diesel heist in progress. They responded to an isolated cell tower on the Moore Road, which is about 70 kilometres from Dawson.

Not far away, they apprehended three men, complete with tidy Tanks containing 22 hundred litres of Diesel.

The three Dawson Creek residents are currently in police custody, and the police investigation continues.

Sgt. Stephen Grant of the Dawson Creek detachment says fuel thefts have been increasing in recent months.

Sgt. says the men haven’t yet been interviewed, so their identities can’t be revealed, and more information is not yet available.
