RCMP confirm third bombing near Tomslake, BC

RCMP have now confirmed a third bomb attack has occurred on a piece of EnCana sour gas infrastructure near Tomslake, BC.

The site of the explosion, about 12km northwest of the community, was discovered at approximately 12:30 today. This bombing occurred at a a sour gas wellhead. The explosion caused a small leak, but police say it has been contained by EnCana operations engineers and does not pose any danger to the public. Sgt. Tim Shields of the RCMP’s E Division Strategic Communications section is currently enroute to Dawson Creek and will be addressing the media Saturday morning.
