School District 60 and the Province have officially opened another Strongstart Centre in Peace River North. The official opening was held Thursday morning at Robert Ogilvie School.

The centre is a free drop-in early learning program for preschool-aged children accompanied by a parent or caregiver. This is the second Strongstart Centre in School District 60 with the first opened last year at Duncan Cran School. School District Superintendent of Schools Larry Espe says the demand at Duncan Cran required them to open another centre.
