We have had confirmation this afternoon from both of the companies involved, that 2 well sites belonging to Canadian Natural Resources, and 4 more belonging to Iteration Energy, were hit on the night of December 11th, with both companies reporting no leakage, and minimal damage.

Police say there was valve tampering and, that shots were fired at structures on the sites, which are located in the rural area, north of Cecil Lake, but not near any residences.

Constable Jackelynn Passarell says the Serious Crime Unit of the Fort St. John Detachment is conducting the investigation and, it is requesting calls from anyone with information that could assist the unit, at 250-787-8140…or, if you chose to remain anonymous, at 1-800-222-8477….
