Another Local Bears Record

It’s mission accomplished again for the Fort St. John LDB store, as it sold its full compliment of 24 hundred Christmas charity teddy bears this year, setting another provincial record.

For each bear sold the provincial Liquor Distribution Branch supplies another bear for local area charitable donation.

In addition, store manager Warren Mears expects four to five hundred of the purchased bears will be returned to be added too the charity disbribution supply.

The local outlet broke the sales record it established at 2 thousand 36 bears last year and it’s believed local sales were more than five hundred, ahead of any other outlet in the province.

Mr. Mears is again encouraging any local charity groups, which would like to be beneficiaries of the program to call 250-787-3405.
