Atom Flyers finish 4th in Dawson Creek

The Pimm’s Production Atom Flyers participated in the Dawson Creek Atom Tournament over the weekend. Games results are as follows:

Game 1
The Pimms Production Atom Flyers played Ft. Nelson Fury on Friday night. The Flyers won 11 – 2. Jacob Lang and Aaron Kosinsky each got hattricks, with Teagan McMullen, Trey Hipkiss, Austin Crossely, and Thomas Pope contributed with singles. FSJ’s Damen Kraeleman also netted a goal on a penalty shot. Coleman McAffery faced 13 shots between the pipes for FSJ.

Game 2
The Pimm’s Production Atom Flyers played Fairview Jr. Kings on Saturday morning. The Flyer’s held on to a 6-5 win. Jacob Lang and Adom Bowie rallied for 2 goals each, with singles coming from Trey Hipkiss, and Thomas Pope. Jessie McArthur played strong in net facing 22 shots.

Game 3
The Pimm’s Production Atom Flyers final game in round robin play saw the 9 year olds face off against Peace River Mustangs Saturday afternoon. FSJ’s Teagan McMullen scored the only goal for the Flyer’s in an 8-1 loss to the Mustangs.

Game 4
The Flyer’s secured 4th place out of 7 teams after round robin play and had to face the Peace River Mustangs again in the semi-finals on Sunday. FSJ’s Damen Kraeleman opened the scoring early in the first period to put the Flyer’s up 1-0. This would end up being the Flyer’s only goal of the game, as the Mustangs rallied back for a final score of 5-1. The Pimm’s Production Atom Flyers finished in 4th place.

The Pimm’s Production Atom Flyer’s travel to Nampa, AB next weekend as they resume All Peace League action against the Peace River Mustangs.
