Bantam AA Flyers lose to D.C.

The rivalry between the Fort St. John Knights of Columbus AA Bantams continued against the Dawson Creek Canucks on Saturday. Fort St. John trailed by 2-0 at the end of the first period. Jade McMullin, assisted by Jordan Harder, scored at 17:53 in the second period to put the game at 2-1. Dawson Creek replied with two goals at 14:31 and 13:37 in the third period. The Knights of Columbus got on the scoreboard again when Blair Karasiuk scored unassisted at 5:08. Cayle Bell added to the Fort St. John total by scoring with one minute remaining. The goal was assisted by Logan Daneluk and Blair Karasiuk. Although the Flyers were controlling the game, one minute wasn’t sufficient to allow a tying goal. Goalie, Turner Gullickson stopped 30 shots on goal. The final score was 4 -3 for Dawson Creek.

Next Game: Saturday, December 13. Fort St. John Flyers Vs Peace River Sabres at 3:15 pm at Taylor arena and then again on Sunday, December 14 at 10:30 am. At North Peace arena in FSJ.
