The City of Fort St. John will hold its second meeting on the 2009 budget today.

The meeting will focus on setting the 2009 Utility Rates for the community.  The report to be presented to council, which is attached to this news story, suggests 5 options for utility rates in 2009.  The possible rates include a fixed charge that ranges from $20 to $45 and then allows for per usage rates that range from $0.67/m3 to $0.89/m3.

For Bulk customers the rate could range from $1.50 to $2.50.  All billing would be done a quarterly basis.
