Everyone safe in HWY 29 crash Sunday

Nobody was hurt when a full truck rolled on Highway 29, on the weekend.

Constable Jackelynn Passarell, of the Fort St. John RCMP, confirms the single-vehicle accident took place at about 12:45 Sunday afternoon, in the Bear Flats area of Highway 29.

Constable Passarell says there were 4 occupants in the pick-up, when it hit an icy patch on a corner, created by some weekend freezing rain.

Passarell says there is no indication of speed or aclohol playing a factor in the crash, and the police investigation is now complete.

She adds the passengers survived the accident, uninjured, because all of them were wearing their seatbelts.
