At about 1:14 am Sunday morning the Fire Department was called to smoke coming from a building on the Formula Powell yard at 7308 72nd street which is next to UFA.

Once fire crews arrived the truck shop was heavily involved in fire.  The buiding stored several pieces of heavy equipment.  The roof collapsed early into the fire, which according to Fire Chief Fred Burrows made extinguishing the fire more difficult.  In total crews were on scene for over 7 hours while the temperature dipped below -39 C.

The building was totally destroyed and the caused is still under investigation.  The Fire Department expects damages to be at least several million dollars.
