Gasoline Price Drop

Local area motorists are advised this is another day to shop before they buy gasoline.

As of 11 o’clock this morning, there was a 13 cent difference, between the top and bottom end prices, in Fort St. John.

The posted price at the majority of filling stations in the city had dropped, another 10 cents a liter, to 81 point nine cents.

However, the top end price was still 94 point nine cents a liter, at the Esso outlet on 100th street.

Across the province the news is much the same, with the bottom end price now all the way down, to 68 point four cents a liter, in Mission.

However, as of last night, that was 37 and half cents lower, the top end price in Fort Nelson, of a dollar 5 point nine.

On a year-over-year basis, the new common posted price in Fort St. John is, 30 cents a liter lower, than it was on this day in 2007.
