**We will have more information on this story shortly.  The RCMP are hold a press conference at 11am**

On December 12, 2008 Fort St. John RCMP were advised of several well sites in the Osborn Area, located north east of Fort St. John, that had been the target of mischief overnight. The investigation has determined that the mischief to the well sites included valves being tampered with and shots being fired at structures located on the well site. The wells are operated by Iteration Energy. As the investigation proceeded, it was discovered that well sites operated by Canadian Natural Resources Ltd (CNRL) had also been targeted.

The well sites were located in a rural area. There are no residences located in the direct vicinity of these well sites.

The investigation is being conducted by the Serious Crime Unit of the Fort St. John RCMP Detachment. As this time, there is no evidence to suggest that these acts of mischief are related in any way to the recent targeted attacks on Encana well sites in the Dawson Creek area.
