Pimms Production Atom Flyers host DC

The Pimm’s Production Atom Flyers (9 year olds) hosted the Dawson Creek Atom Jr. Canucks in an All Peace League game on Saturday at the Rec. Centre.  The game results are as follows:

 

Korban Hamar opened the scoring for the Flyers at 18:36 of the first period with an assist from Spencer Zazulak.  Dawson Creek tied it up 2 minutes later.  At 6:09 of the first, Jacob Lang put the Flyers up 2-1.  The Canucks responded again 3 minutes later, sending the teams to the dressing rooms tied at 2 after 20 minutes.  At 15:53 of the second period, Aaron Kosinsky took a pass from linemate Adam Bowie and put the Flyers up by one.  The Dawson Creek Jr. Canucks tied it up again 2 minutes later, then jumped ahead with 2 more unanswered goals 36 seconds apart from each other midway through the second to take a 5-3 lead.  At 9:42 of the third, Jacob Lang scored his second of the game with an assist from Adam Bowie to bring the Flyers to within one. The Jr. Canucks sealed the game with an assurance goal with 2:57 left in regulation to take the win.  Final score – Dawson Creek 6, Pimms Production Atom Flyers 4.

 

The Pimm’s Production Atom Flyers are attending the Dawson Creek Jr. Canucks Atom tournament next weekend.
