Both runways at Vancouver Airport are once again full-operational and crews are working round the clock to keep ice off them and the taxiways.
However, domestic flights are still seeing some delays and, there are still long line-ups of passengers, trying to re-book cancelled holiday flights.
Locally, Air Canada says there was about a 15 minute delay at the Fort St. John airport, on its first flight to Vancouver this morning.
However, things are pretty well back to normal.
The bad news is, there’s more snow in the Vancouver forecast and, airport work crews there are getting ready to ramp up efforts again.
Meantime, the local five day forecast shows slight improvement, with overnight lows slightly above minus 30, after five consecutive days, of below minus 30 readings, including minus 32, this morning.
However, there’s still no sign of a return to seasonal norms, before January 5th.
