Winter Lights Judges arrive in FSJ Tuesday

Winter Lights judges are scheduled to arrive in Fort St. John Tuesday afternoon.

This year Fort St. John is competing in the Winners Circle category against 4 other communities all from the East Coast.  Larry Evans is the Co-Chair of the local Winter Lights Committee and says the judges will meet with several local groups during there visit.

Fort St. John has participated in the Winter Lights program since it’s inception in 2001.  Our community has received several honors, including awards the for the Huskies Fill the Bus Fundraiser, the Salvation Army and the Christmas Hamper Society.

The winners will be announced February 19th to 21st in Prince George.
