Hoping to raise funds for another Seeds of Learning trip to El Salvador, students from North Peace Secondary are getting involved in Christmas Tree recycling.

The Northern Enivornmental Action Team has issued a news release informing the public, that the 52 students will be collecting discarded trees on Saturday.

Residents are being asked to leave the trees at the curb in front of their homes, between 9am and 1pm.

When they’re collected, a donation envelope along with an information pamphlet will be left in the mailboxes, of the participating households.

The students will go to El Salavador next summer, to take part in the building of another school in the central American country and, for more information you can call Kailey at 250-793-9438.
