Charlie Lake looking for volunteer firefighters

If you’ve always wanted to be a firefighter, here’s your chance.

The Charlie Lake Fire Department is looking for volunteers to begin training this October.

Fire Chief Allan Pinkerton explains what the department requires of the volunteers.

Volunteers can have full time jobs, as long as there is approval to leave in case of an emergency.

Applicants must also be in good health, as well as hold a valid class five drivers license with a clear criminal record.

Pinkerton encourages anyone interested to come visit him in Charlie Lake.
