City council debates snow removal

The Mayor and Councilors seem to agree on the state of snow removal within the city.

City Council discussed the issue Monday night, saying snow removal efficiency has increased in Fort St. John. However, people are still complaining. Mayor Bruce Lantz says it’s hard to please everyone when it comes to snow removal. City Council motioned to delay their decision until a better solution becomes available. Meanwhile, Councilor Lori Ackerman says volunteers are needed for the Snow Angel program – a service where volunteers shovel driveways for seniors and disabled persons. Council will discuss the program further in the next coming meeting.
