CT scanner arrives in FSJ

A red-letter day for the Fort St. John Hospital Foundation on Monday, as the new CT Scanner arriver at the Fort St. John hospital. [asset|aid=799|format=mp3player|formatter=asset_bonus|title=6ca120513257a33d7453ea93bfcf2924-janice-excited_1_Pub.mp3]

That’s Janice Isberg, the Executive Director of the Foundation that raised the money for the machine. Isberg and Northern Health say the new scanner will likely be in operation by the beginning of February, though it will probably be a gradual opening, starting with a few patients, and growing from there.

Also yesterday, the Foundation accepted another 50 thousand dollar donation from Canadian Natural Resources Limited, which brings the company’s contribution total to 150 thousand dollars.
