The Senior Flyers have added more depth for their run to the Allan Cup, with the signing of former pro Mike Hofstrand.

Hofstrand is another Fort St. John product who enjoyed success as a collegiate and professional hockey player.

Former teams include the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (where he played with David Alexander), and the ECHL’s Bakersfield Condors (where he played with Todd Alexander).

Like with Greg Lakovic, his affiliate card means he will not be eligible to play any NPHL games, but will join the team for AAA action, including the MacKenzie Cup this spring.
