City council needs more time to amend a hazardous waste storage bylaw in Fort St. John.

A public hearing was held Monday night to question the zoning implications. Concerned resident Lita Powell says parts of the report are unclear. [asset|aid=848|format=mp3player|formatter=asset_bonus|title=74838eff995fff27a3dafd71cf9cd884-Lita Powell 1_1_Pub.mp3]

She says exact volume amounts of hazardous waste need to be defined, as well as outlined storage regulations. City Manager Dianne Hunter says existing commercial zones will be grandfathered in.
