CNRL buys Painted Pony Energy

CALGARY, A.B. - Canadian Natural Resources Limited has announced it will acquire Painted Pony Energy Ltd.

BC Stats. has released the province-wide breakdown of Friday’s jobless numbers.

It shows an increase in the number of jobs and, a downsizing of the labor force, left the Northeast region with the lowest rate in the province.

At 3.6 percent it was also lower, than any provincial rate in the country. As reported earlier, a 0.7% jump in Alberta, put its rate up to 4.1% percent but, it’s still the lowest rate among the provinces.

Community Interviews with Moose FM

BC was up 0.4%, to 5.3%, behind Saskatchewan and Manitoba at 4.2 and 4.3. The North Coast/Nechako had the highest BC regional rate, at 8.4%, followed by the Kootenays, at 7%.
