In the Alberta Peace, a man has been charged with manslaughter in the slaying of a neighbour last week.
The Peace River Mounties received a report that the victim had been assaulted at a residence, about 80 km northeast of Peace River.
49 year old, Sylvester Francis Laboucan, later died in hospital and now police have charged 34 year old, Terry Blake Whitehead.
Meantime, the Grande Prairie RCMP has released a sketch of the prime suspect in an alleged sex assault on a teen girl, earlier this month.
A 14-year-old girl told Mounties she was sexually assaulted in the early morning hours of February 7th, northeast of Grande Prairie.
The suspect is described as being in his late twenties or early thirties, about five feet ten inches tall, and only about 140 pounds.
He’s also said to have dark hair, brown eyes and hair on his chin…and, he was driving a small, white, older-model, four-door car.
