Budget money for Northern Lights College

The Northern Lights College will benefit from the 2009 budget released Monday.

Over the next three years 228 million dollars will be distributed to the province’s colleges.

Northern Lights Communications Manager Brad Lyon says the money will be put to good use.

While the college doesn’t yet know how much funding it will receive, Lyon says he has a few projects in mind.

He also mentions the money will be used for capital projects and some upgrades to the Dawson Creek campus.

Lyon says the campus’s administration will meet with the province to discuss funding in the next few weeks.
