City Council is still talking about changing the speed limit in front of a local senior’s home to 30 kilometers an hour.

Council will be looking into the costs of signs and will be working with the RCMP to see if changing the limit will be feasible.

Councillor Evans says he is concerned about the seniors who frequent the road.

The purposed zone is on 98th street and stretches from 106th Avenue to 112th Avenue.

However, it was suggested by Councillor Christensen on Monday night that the zone be stretched from 105th Avenue due to a local children’s play-area.

The motioned carried and will be discussed again when council attains the cost information and RCMP approval.
