Residents of the local Edgewood Mobile Home Park have been given more options in keeping their homes.
Jodi Howard owns two mobile homes in the park. She says the landlord has offered them two more options.

She says the park is already starting to conserve water, with help from 66 water conservation kits donated by the Fort St. John city council.

The owner sent out a letter last week to all 66 residents saying the only options for the park were to close with little or no notice or see a substantial rent increase.
Howard says most of the tenants don’t agree to any of the options and will wait for the Landlord Tenancy Act hearings to begin. She says the hearings have not been scheduled as of yet.
