The budget includes $2.5 billion over three years, to pay for health care projects like the new Fort St. John hospital and nine million for the Peace Region Fair Share agreement.

Among the things the budget did not address were rising pump prices and in fact the government still has plans to force them up again later this year, with installment two of it’s controversial carbon tax.
