Problem at Gas Plant closes Alaska Highway

The RCMP have confirmed reports of a problem at about mile 111 of the Alaska Highway.

A gas plant in the area is experiencing a problem in the area of mile 111 which is causing problems on the highway.  The highway will be closed between mile 110 and mile 112 until further notice.

At this time we don’t know what is happening at this gas plant as the RCMP are still on their way to the area.

Once we know more…we will pass it on.
