The truck was heading Southbound on the Prespatou Road north of Fort St. John, approaching the 256 Road. It was in the middle of crossing a railway marked with a stop sign when it was struck.

The driver is reporting no injuries, but did go to the hospital for an examination.

Prespatou Road will be closed until the train and truck are cleared from the roadway.

Northbound and Southbound travelers are asked to take the detour through Montney to avoid any delays.

The RCMP will provide an update when further information is available.
