$38,000 down and, $162,000 to go.
That’s the tally this morning in the Child Development Centre’s annual fund-raiser, following the 5th annual Day for the Kids event yesterday.
Now the focus shifts to the 35th annual Talent Show tonight at the North Peace Cultural Centre .
It will once again be broadcast on Moose-FM beginning at 6 o’clock but, donations are also being accepted all day and you can call 250-787-7100 or go on line at Energeticcity-dot-ca.
The overall goal is to raise at least $200,000 and all the funds raised will once again go towards Project Build a Fort, designed to see the CDC more than double in size.
Tonight’s show is free but the CDC is again requesting a donation to the Food Bank and/or the centre.
