Cocaine found in DC Residence

The Dawson Creek RCMP now says a large quantity of cocaine was also found last night, hidden in the residence in that city, where police executed a search warrant on Wednesday afternoon.

At that time, they discovered a sophisticated marijuana grow-op in the basement of the house and recovered about 650 plants in various stages of growth.

In addition, two people were arrested and a sizable quantity of cash and four improperly stored rifles were seized.

At last report, a 33 year old male resident and, his 22 year old female partner, were still in police custody, waiting to appear in court to formally face multiple charges.
