City Councilors donated a toonie each to kick off a fundraiser for the KidSport week.

Mayor Lantz announced on Monday KidSport week will be held from March 14th-21st.

Chair of the North Peace KidSport Gail Weber says the organization allows children of all abilities to compete in sports.

She says the Fort St. John Quiznos will be participating in a month long fundraiser. The restaurant will be selling banners for a toonie, and displaying the signed banners on the window. All proceeds go towards the organization.
