The Dawson Creek RCMP now say a recent grow op bust contained the largest seizure of cocaine made in the Peace Country in many years.

The RCMP say the cocaine has a total street value of $100,000, the largest bust in DC History.  They also released the names of the two people found in the home.  Dennis Ewonchuk, age 33 and Leah Underwood, age 22, remain in police custody facing numerous drug and weapons related charges.

Wednesday afternoon a search warrant was executed on a residence at 18th street and 88th ave in Dawson Creek.   A sophisticated marijuana grow operation was uncovered in the basement of the house.  Some 650 plants in various stages of growth, including 378 mature and budding plants were recovered.  In addition, police have seized a sizable quantity of cash and four improperly stored rifles.
