According to the RCMP a young female faces a charge of Armed Robbery, following a Friday afternoon incident, at Bill’s News and Confectionary in the downtown area of Dawson Creek.

There’s no indication in a police news release what, if anything, was taken from the store but, it does confirm it was "held up" by a young person with a knife.

The young woman, who allegedly fled the scene, was arrested a shortime later without any resistence and there were no injuries reported.
