Today is the deadline to submit nominations for this year’s Fort St. John Community Awards.

Mayor Bruce Lantz says "The Awards play an important role in recognizing efforts that many individuals and organizations have made over the past year".

Some of the award categories include Athlete of the Year, Artist of the Year, Best Business of the Year and, Volunteer Organization of the Year.

In total, 27 winners will be announced on Thursday, April 23th, at the Pomeroy Hotel.

Nomination forms are available at the North Peace Leisure Pool or, on line, at the City’s website, www.fortstjohn.ca.
