Dawson Creek Drug Bust Friday

The Dawson Creek RCMP is reporting a drug bust last Friday morning.

During the early morning hours of April 24th, Mounties raided what they’re calling a “heavily fortified” house, and found an undisclosed quantity of unnamed drugs and cash, as well as a loaded 9mm handgun.

25 year-old Damien William Rice, and 41 year-old Laurel Thomson were arrested and charged with weapons and drug related offences, and have been released on bail.  At this time, the RCMP won’t be releasing any more information about this bust.

Anyone with more information on this on any other suspected grow-op is encouraged to call the D.C. RCMP detachment, at (250) 784-3700.
