A drafted parking plan would allow up to 315 parking spaces around the Enerplex.
The plan was presented to council at Tuesday night’s meeting. It proposes up to 110 parking stalls in front of the building, up to 175 stalls behind the building, and another 30 stalls on the side of the building – beside the Business Resource Centre.
Council seemed pleased with the plan, but Councilor Evans wants to see 94th Avenue repaved.
Director of Engineering Services Horacio Galanti says the street will be dealt with, but doesn’t know when.

Another idea was to increase parking by extending the west parking lot into the Business Resource Centre’s lot.
Director of Protective Services Jim Rogers says the option will be considered later on down the road.
The plan also includes walkways, grassed areas and four main exits – on 93rd Avenue and 96th Avenue, and on 96th Street and 100th Street. For a copy of the full report from city staff click on the attached pdf.
