The Fort St. John Community Awards have been rescheduled.

As reported last week, organizers postponed the event, largely because of a lack of nominations received.

Organizer Karin Carlson confirmed Tuesday, the Awards Gala will now be held on Wednesday June 10th, at the Pomeroy Hotel.

Carlson also says the committee has simplified the nomination process, and the new forms are available at City Hall, the Visitor Information Centre, the North Peace Leisure Pool, the Fort St. John & District Chamber of Commerce, and online, at www.fortstjohn.ca [asset|aid=1265|format=mp3player|formatter=asset_bonus|title=799eecbe15780a831130fba653a0fe90-Carlson-3_1_Pub.mp3]

The guest speaker and performer at this year’s Gala will be Dayna Manning, with other performances to come from Pianist Naomi Shore, and students from NPSS.
