The BC Oil and Gas Commission is opening a new office in Fort Nelson.
Minister of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Blair Lekstrom says the new office will symbolize the commitment to public collaboration and will increase the Commission’s accessibility and visibility to the community.
The new facility will include new video conference equipment linking Fort Nelson to the rest of operations and the world.
In 1999, the first office opened in Fort Nelson a year after the Oil and Gas Commission was formed.
