The deadline for MLA hopefuls to file their papers has come and gone.

Candidates had until one p.m. on Friday to file their nomination papers. There are no new candidates for the North Peace region.

Pat Pimm will be representing the Liberals, Jackie Allen is the NDP candidate, the Green Party candidate is Liz Logan and Suzanne Arnston is representing the Refederation Party.

Arthur Hadland is the only candidate running as an Independent.

General voting day is May 12, 2009. Just a reminder, the North Peace Forum will be held on April 28th from 7pm to 9pm at the Quality Inn Northern Grand. Moose FM will be broadcasting this forum live.
