Lots of people came out to meet both speed skaters and wish them luck in the 2010 Olympics set for February in Vancouver.  During their time in Fort St. John they visited several schools and toured the Enerplex.  After their Enerplex tour, the brothers decided to donate a number of special items from their speed skating career that were buried underneath the ice in the facility.

The Fort St. John and District Chamber of Commerce also announced a donation towards Denny & Jay to help them train for the upcoming games.
