Final Day for Advanced Voting in the Province

Today is the final day of advanced voting accross the province.

Elections BC says on Wednesday and Thursday over 1,000 people came out and voted in Peace River North.  In Peace River South only 800 people came out in the first two days.  They have not released information for Friday May 8th at this time.

Province-wide, 147,298 people cast ballots on Wednesday and Thursday.

The advance polls are again open Saturday, from 8am to 8pm for the final day of advanced voting.  Election day is Tuesday May 12th with the polls open again from 8am to 8pm.

Once again your reminded, in Fort St. John the polling station is located, at an east side entrance, of the Stonebridge Hotel. Elsewhere, in the local riding, you can vote at…the District Office in Taylor…the Pearkes {Parks} Centre in Hudson’s Hope…and, the Community Centre in Fort Nelson.
